Workflow Examples

These examples use the released Vendivo for Mac workflow and cameras available to macOS. Start with the smallest setup that tells the product story clearly.

One-camera Whatnot sale

Use one stable camera when the seller can reposition the item inside the same frame.

  • Assign the camera to the one-camera Whatnot setup.
  • Use Seller for direct address and Product for a tighter selling view.
  • Build the queue in the expected sale order.
  • Test both views even though they share one physical camera.

This avoids duplicated overlays and is the simplest first-show setup.

Two-camera collectibles desk

Use one camera on the host and one above the product surface.

  • Assign Seller to the host camera.
  • Assign Product to the overhead or close-up camera.
  • Use Product while condition and details matter.
  • Use Stacked when the audience benefits from seeing both seller and item.
  • Use Picture-in-Picture for reaction without sacrificing the product frame; move the seller window away from the item.

Card or break show

Add each product, card, break, or lot as its own queue line. Give the first item the view that should be staged when Start Show is selected.

Use the queue and private cues inside Vendivo while keeping public marketplace actions—pins, auctions, chat, and orders—in the marketplace interface.

Three-camera landscape production

For a standard RTMP destination, assign Overview, Product, and Host cameras.

  • Host handles direct presentation.
  • Close-up emphasizes product detail.
  • Protected Overview provides a safe wide scene during movement or transitions.
  • Break supports the alternate production composition prepared by the studio.

Choose Manual / External or the appropriate marketplace under Accounts & Marketplaces, then configure the RTMP destination under Output & Recording.

Tutorial or product demonstration

Use the product camera for hands-on detail and Host for explanation. Build queue items as chapters or demonstrations so each transition is recorded in the local timeline.

For YouTube Live, Twitch, or a custom endpoint, use the landscape RTMP workflow in Other Streaming Platforms.

Interview or co-hosted sale

Use separate cameras for host and guest only if the selected layout and camera roles produce the intended program. Treat audio as a separate design:

  • Choose one managed microphone path when both people can share it.
  • Use Pro Mode only when intentional advanced mixing is required.
  • Run an end-to-end listening test to catch echo and phasing.

Camera-picker applications

OBS Virtual Camera can publish the composed picture to an app that only accepts a camera device. It carries no OBS audio, so select audio separately in that application.

Camera Home and Vendivo Phone Camera (Direct) belong to the forthcoming phone-companion workflow and do not currently select local Mac cameras.

Choose reliability over complexity

Every added camera, browser tab, filter, and recording increases load. Rehearse with the exact hardware and workload you will use publicly, confirm the destination picture and sound, and simplify the production when complexity no longer helps the sale.
